Peyia in Paphos is located on the South West coast of the beautiful island of Cyprus and as such enjoys a typical Mediterranean climate, a favourite of visitors from Europe and Middle East, the former seeking the sunshine and heat sometimes missing from their climate at home and the latter escaping the oven baking temperatures experienced at the height of their summer.

Fabled for being the birthplace of the Goddess of Love, Aphrodite, there are many representations of her amongst the historic sites that exist on the Cyprus, with many of these being found in the Paphos District
